New Capacity-Building Opportunity for California Community Colleges

/

Today, we launch the application process for our first capacity-building opportunity for California Community Colleges.

We believe that strengthening institutional policies and practices at community colleges in California, where 1 in 5 students are parenting, is crucial to empowering bright futures for all Californians.

Our Empowering Parenting Students Community of Practice centers connection and facilitates peer learning opportunities that will allow participating college teams to increase their knowledge of student parents, particularly of single mothers, along with their intersectional identities and assets.

All colleges within the California Community College system are encouraged to apply. Interested applicants are encouraged to attend the May 15, 2024 informational webinar.

Application Deadline:

Applications are due by 5:00 PM PDT on June 1, 2024.
